The Screen Options menu is a hidden-away tool in the WordPress Dashboard that full of things you probably didn’t know that you didn’t know.
After Friday’s initial look at the basics of the post editor, today we’re going to look at some advanced features of the editor. Specifically:
- Paste as Text mode (again) – what it is and why you might use it
- Text/HTML editing mode
- Distraction-free writing mode
OK, sorry for missing a Press Up while I was ill. Today I’m back – albeit with a slightly croaky voice – and looking at the post editor. Tomorrow I’ll cover in more detail the “Paste as Text” option that is mentioned briefly here, and the text editing mode and distraction-free writing mode.
