After Friday’s initial look at the basics of the post editor, today we’re going to look at some advanced features of the editor. Specifically:
- Paste as Text mode (again) – what it is and why you might use it
- Text/HTML editing mode
- Distraction-free writing mode
OK, sorry for missing a Press Up while I was ill. Today I’m back – albeit with a slightly croaky voice – and looking at the post editor. Tomorrow I’ll cover in more detail the “Paste as Text” option that is mentioned briefly here, and the text editing mode and distraction-free writing mode.
I have no voice today, but I’m marching on. Here’s me showing you how to insert a video from a service like YouTube or Vimeo into a WordPress post or page.
